THE GREAT NAKED NATAION
After 3 years at Super Dope and 10 years in the animation industry, earlier this year, I decided to take an extended break in the form of a self funded sabbatical. The moves had to happen pretty slowly, from making the decision, informing my team, transitioning out of my position, and returning to freelance to be able to support myself.
The decision was a difficult one filled with lots of anxiety, shame, and guilt. So to bridge the gap, I decided to pour it into something to help me process it. This is a memoir minicomic about my decision to take a self funded sabbatical. This was a really nice way to dump all of my feelings into and have a bit of a break from the CG world.
