Co-Founder & Creative Director

April 2020 - February 2023

Super Dope is a boutique animation studio that I co-founded and ran studio operations end-to-end. This included intake, bidding, finance, freelance network, and schedules. We kept it running with artists and clients across 3 continents while retaining client relationships like Youtube, Spotify, Psyop, Chik-Fil-A, Amazon, Coke, Aardman Nathan Love, Bath and Body Works, Hornet, and HOPR.

What I built

My role was the operational backbone of the business: translating creative ambitions into runnable productions, keeping the financials healthy, and assembling a global network of artists that could flex with any project. Additionally, I got my hands dirty as a Principal CG Artist.

Infrastructure

Designed project intake systems that balanced fast-moving client timelines with sustainable team workloads, while building and maintaining Notion and Monday databases to track capacity, tasks, and freelance availability.

Team & Culture

Built a streamlined bidding system for fast, accurate client estimates, managed the full financial pipeline from payments to reporting, and regularly provided leadership with clear operational updates, pain points, and next steps.

Direction

Worked as a principal character and environment artist, developing production solutions that enabled rapid asset creation at scale and leading hero character work for partner studios and clients including YouTube, Meta, and Spotify.

Outcomes

We built Super Dope from nothing — no existing client list, no infrastructure, no playbook. Three years later, we had a profitable studio, a retained roster of major clients who came back project after project, and a reputation for delivering on time, every time.

What it felt like to work with me at Super Dope

Former Super Dope Co-Founder

Creative Manager at Discord

“I had the opportunity to work closely with Lizzie both in creative environments and while building a company together, Super Dope, where she played a key role in finance coordination and production planning.

What always stood out to me was her ability to bring structure and organization to fast-moving creative work. I believe her background as a creative brings a valuable perspective into operational roles. She has a strong understanding of production timelines, resource needs, and the realities of the creative process, which helps her create smoother workflows, thoughtfully navigate moving pieces, and support successful deliveries.

She’s also a creative problem solver who stays adaptable when challenges come up, while still keeping projects organized and moving forward. I think her blend of creative understanding and operational thinking would make her a strong addition to teams looking for someone who can bridge both worlds.”
